Terms and Conditions for Preparing Medico-Legal Reports:

1. Mr Iwuagwu will within 14 days accept or reject the instructions and confirm the same to the agency/solicitor.
2. An appointment will be offered within 14 days of receipt of instructions and confirm the same to the agency/solicitor.
3. Mr Iwuagwu will prepare the report as quickly as is possible after the examination and send it to the agency/solicitor at the latest within 14 days of the date of the examination or receipt of medical records, if not received at time of consultation, via recorded delivery together with an invoice for his fee.
4. Mr Iwuagwu accepts that payment in some cases can only be made upon conclusion of the claimant’s case but would like to be advised about this on instruction.
5. For Solicitors, we will send a copy of the unsigned completed report to them to peruse and will send signed copies on receipt of payment.
6. For Medico-Legal agencies, Mr Iwuagwu will expect full payment within 2 months of submission of the completed report unless otherwise agreed at time of instruction.
7. The fee for an examination and report (including review of GP and/or hospital records if required) is £300.00 per hour and £850 for simple reports. This figure may be varied by prior agreement between the parties confirmed in writing depending on the individual case. A tally is kept of the time spent and charged in approximate sections of 15 minutes each.
8. The fee for reviewing medical records (alone without examination of patient) is £350.00. This fee may be varied by agreement in writing depending on the individual case.
9. The fee for any addendum requested following completion of the report will incur an additional fee at the rate of £300 per hour.
10. The fee for DNA’s (did not attend) is £240.00 without 24 hours notice of cancellation being given.
